Our Story


Here is my story; how I went from failing in Accounting just before my O Levels to ranking 1st all across Bangladesh for two consecutive years, and how you can, too. The idea of writing an accounting textbook sparked my mind when I realized that I wasn’t the only one who tried memorizing accounting and failed at it, and that there was truly a gap in students’ fundamental understanding of the subject.

Sayeed Yousuf Ahmed graduated with a First-Class Honours in Investment Management degree, along with a Concentration in Accounting from McGill University in 2022. Prior to that, he studied A-Level Accounting, Mathematics, and Physics in Scholastica School, Dhaka, where he graduated as valedictorian in 2018.

He was awarded the Cambridge Outstanding Learners Award for obtaining the highest mark in Bangladesh in the Cambridge Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced level Accounting examinations in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Currently, he works as an Investment Banking Analyst at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto. Prior to that, he completed an internship in Deloitte’s Audit Public practice.

Outside of work, Sayeed enjoys playing competitive soccer and wildlife/nature photography.
